Automatic Enrolment: Qualitative Research with small and micro employers

DWP would like to invite tenders for an evidence review and qualitative research project exploring the implementation of automatic enrolment amongst Small and Micro Employers (SMEs). This research will explore how small and micro employers have responded to their employer duties, and their workers’ responses to being automatically enrolled. Findings will be used to inform the evaluation of the Automatic Enrolment programme. The research will be similar to, and build on, previous pieces of qualitative research conducted with large employers who implemented automatic enrolment in 2012-13 and with large and medium employers who implemented automatic enrolment in 2014.
