Tender description

Islington Council invites suitable expressions of interest from suppliers for the provision of Lone Working Devices. Current status / Background The council currently provides its caretakers and certain officers with Lone Working Devices to maintain their personal security whilst travelling to and from, and working in, our residents’ properties and whilst working on our estates. The current number of devices used is 360. The requirement The contract will include: • the supply of approximately 370 (or more as required) Lone Working Devices on lanyards • the maintenance and replacement of devices where required • a support service contactable by users and the account manager to cover general enquiries and performance issues • a 24 hour/7 day a week/365(6) days a year alarm response service, with transmission/communication between the device and centre included • onsite training prior to rollout of devices and further training as required during the duration of the contract • regular reporting to the authorised officer throughout the duration of the contract. • provision of chargers and batteries as required
