Tender description

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (the Primary Contracting Authority) and the Secondary Contracting Authorities — being the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the City of Westminster — have jointly established a framework agreement with qualified and competent Suppliers for the provision of a range of Key Worker-led semi-independent living (SIL) support services for young people in care aged between 16 and 17 years, and Care Leavers aged from 18 to 24 years, delivered from safe, secure and high-quality accommodation. The purpose of the SIL support services is to work with young people leaving care, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, to build a range of life skills that will enable them to transition successfully from being looked after to becoming care leavers and then onto living independently. The principal aims of the support services are to deliver the strategic outcomes based around the ‘Pillars of Parenting’: — Personalisation, Outcomes, Collaboration and Community — across differing levels of support needs and intensity: high, medium and low. The support services to be tendered are organised into 4 lots, and bidders who wish to be appointed to the framework may tender for 1 or more lots.
