Training and simulation in security equipment. Training and simulation in firearms and ammunition. Training and simulation in military vehicles. Training and simulation in warships. Training and simulation in aircraft, missiles and spacecraft. Training and simulation in military electronic systems. The Defence Virtual Simulation (DVS) requirement is for the provision of a virtual simulation tool (including training) which shall provide common, interoperable, accessible and deployable capability in order to enable simulated activity across all levels of training, education and experimentation. The Authority can confirm that Bohemia Interactive Simulations (UK) Ltd has been identified as the Preferred Economic Operator for the provision of the DVS requirement. It is anticipated that DVS will enter service during the latter part of FY 16/17.
