Support for Direct Payment Users

Tender description

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group are seeking to commission Direct Payment Support Services. The main aim is to ensure users of services have greater choice and control over how their support is provided, with the support being both personalised and flexible. The key aims of this service are to promote the effectiveness of personal budget direct payments and to ensure that direct payment users in Kingston are able to use them to lead fulfilling lives as independently as possible. The contract will commence on 1st April 2017 and will be for a period of 3 years. The Authority may at its discretion extend the Contract for a further period of up to 2 (two) x 1 (one) years The tender process selected for this contract is an Open Process, meaning that suppliers will submit responses to Suitability Criteria to assess their competence and capability to deliver the contract at the same time as submitting Tender documents to determine how they will deliver the contract.
