Supply and Install of a Microplate Reader (MPR) System

Tender description

Supply of a Microplate Reader (MPR) System comprising the following: • Computer controlled MPR suitable for 96 well plates; • Possibility to shake the samples; • Unlimited license for the programme used to analyse the data with possibility to export data as .csv, ascii and/or txt files • Full spectra recording of absorption (at least 250 to 900 nm), excitation (at least 300 to 600 nm) and emission spectra (at least 400 to 800 nm); • Variable bandwidth for excitation using monochromator; • High fluorescence sensitivity combined with fast acquisition; • Possibility to follow concomitantly two emission wavelengths from a single excitation; • Time resolved fluorescence for microsecond decay time; • Temperature control >60 ºC; • Control of O2 and CO2 content of the atmosphere down to 1%; • Reference system allowing comparison of O2 and CO2 atmospheric content as set-up with programme with amount effectively in the wells; • Automated ramping capability to allow automated cycling between high and low content of O2 and CO2 and automated measurement of absorption, excitation and emission full spectra at any point during the cycles; • Delivery and installation of MPR on university site; • Training users on university site; • At least 12 months warranty with possible extension; • System to allow user to check performance of equipment (if in doubt about the sample or the equipment having an issue when a measurement is not successful); • System must be fully upgradable in future.
