Tender description

The Department for Transport are looking for a supplier to design, build and deliver 2 fully operational, tested and documented Towed Flight Recorder Underwater Locator Beacon Systems (consisting of an Acquisition and Recording System and a Signal Processing System) plus ancillary tools and parts. The systems will be used to assist the Air Accidents Investigations Branch (AAIB) in the underwater searching and localisation of aircraft flight recorders following a crash in water.
