Tender description

Leicestershire County Council (the Employer) is seeking to identify and appoint up to 8 No Suppliers on to a framework to supply ready mix concrete. The following is a summary list of the Supplier's responsibilities under the contract. — Supply and delivery of ready mix concrete to sites and depots across Leicestershire. — Provision of collection facilities for the Employer to collect directly from the Suppliers premises/batching plant. — Assessment of the Health and Safety implications and implementation of safe systems of work, plans and appropriate control measures. Leicestershire County Council (the Employer) is seeking to identify and appoint up to 8 No Suppliers on to a Framework Agreement to supply ready mix concrete. The estimated contract value is 250 000 GBP per annum or up to 1 000 000 GBP maximum contract value (if extension taken). The proposed Framework Agreement period is 2 years with potential extensions of a further 2 years in 1 year increments subject to performance. The Employer intends to appoint up to 8 (eight) suppliers.
