Personal Budgeting Support (PBS)

Tender description

Allerdale Borough Council invites submissions for an Approved Provider List (APL) for the provision of Personal Budget Support (PBS). From November 2016 we will use an APL to commission support for citizens who are transitioning to Universal Credit. The Council is seeking applications from providers wishing to be considered for inclusion on an Approved Provider List. From 1st November the Council will purchase Personal Budgeting Support for those claimants who require advice and support for managing the new benefit. The aim of the support is to help residents adapting to a single household payment, being paid monthly in arrears and to manage the housing element being paid directly to them rather than to the landlord.
