THE LONDON BOROUGHS OF WANDSWORTH AND RICHMOND UPON THAMES 0 – 5 YEARS HEALTH VISITING SERVICE MEET THE BUYER – MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT THE COUNCIL CHAMBER, THE TOWN HALL, WANDSWORTH HIGH STREET, LONDON SW18 2PU TUESDAY 13 SEPTEMBER 2016 14:00 – 16:30 The London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond upon Thames will be holding a ‘Meet the Buyer’- Market Engagement Event in respect to 0 – 5 Years Health Visiting Service. The purpose of this event will be to provide the Councils with the opportunity to engage with suppliers in the market to discuss our commissioning intentions and local priorities in relation to 0 - 5 years Health Visiting, including setting out the timetable which we are working to ahead of a procurement exercise for this service. We are keen to determine whether there is sufficient interest in the marketplace for the delivery of a 0 – 5 years Health Visiting Service from existing, as well as new providers, to inform our future commissioning intentions and the development/refinement of the service specification. The Councils are also keen to explore ways which can improve health outcomes for those aged between 0 – 5 years and the cost effectiveness of the service. Who can attend? The event is open to any providers who have an interest in delivering services in relation to 0 – 5 years Health Visiting Service. What will it involve? The event will include a presentation by Wandsworth and Richmond upon Thames senior officers and commissioners, detailing the services to be commissioned and providing an outline to the procurement process. We envision this will be an interactive event, including a Question and Answer session and some group discussion. The Councils regard this event as the opportunity for service providers to share their thoughts, ideas and to discuss the vision for the new 0 – 5 Years Health Visiting Service and to provide comments to the Councils about the delivery of the Service.
