Summary of the work The candidate will provide Cyber Security expertise to manage the successful transition and day to day operations of the Strategic Operations Centre (SOC) . Specialist role Cyber security consultant Expected Contract Length Approx. 12 months Latest start date 01/08/2016 Who Speclialist Work With Working into the Cyber Security & Resilience Team and Infrastructre Office Service Team as a Cyber Security Specialist Manger on the Strategic SOC project. What Specialists Work On Requirement is to provide Cyber Security experience and programme and project support to all fuunctions within the Infrastructure Office Service (IOS) Team. Primary the focus will on completion of the delivery - and then transition to - the DWP Strategic Security Operations Centre (SOC). Cyber Security / Programme / Project Management of all related activites: Transition / Cutover activity, Budget Management, Business Case Managment, Supplier Management, Resource Management and Governance Management. Skills & Experience • Cyber Security Project Transition Management experience • PRINCE2 practitioner qualified • APMP Level D qualified • ISO 27001 LA qualified • Experience in technical delivery of Cyber Security projects Nice to Haves • Experience of stakeholder mangement • Experience of budget mangement • Experience of supplier management Work Location Department for Work and Pensions, Tothill Street London SW1H 9NA Working Arrangments Onsite 5 days per week as part of an intergrated team. Expenses in line with DWP expenses policy. Security Clearance DV cleared. Would the DWP consider a specialist whom currently holds SC and has previously held DV albeit in the past? It is a mandatory requirement that we require a DV specialist manager for this role so in this instance, we are unable to accept anything less than this. 2. It would be useful to know which qualifications are essential i.e. we have DV Cleared PMs who don't have Lead Auditor qualification and some Lead Auditors who don't have the PMP qualification.
