Tender description
The Forestry Commission in South England is inviting tenders the following forest management operations: fencing, mulching, planting and residue removal. The work is split up into operation type and location. The work in the Western Beats covers Wareham, Ringwood, New Forest (North and South Walk). Work in the Eastern Beats covers Solent (excluding Isle of Wight), Micheldever, South Downs, Chiddingfold. We will be awarding a framework agreement for the erection of and dismantling of fencing across Western Beats — Wareham, Ringwood, New Forest (North and South Walk). Deer fencing, deer and rabbit fencing and stock fencing will be required. We will be awarding a framework agreement for the erection of and dismantling of fencing across the Eastern Beats — Solent (excluding Isle of Wight), Micheldever, South Downs, Chiddingfold. We will be awarding a framework agreement for mulching across the Western Beats — Wareham, Ringwood, New Forest (North and South Walk). We will be awarding a framework agreement for mulching across the Eastern Beats — Solent (excluding Isle of Wight), Micheldever, South Downs, Chiddingfold. We will be awarding a framework agreement for tree planting across Western Beats — Wareham, Ringwood, New Forest (North and South Walk). We will be awarding a framework agreement for tree planting across Eastern Beats — Solent (excluding Isle of Wight), Micheldever, South Downs, Chiddingfold. We will be awarding a framework agreement for the removal of harvesting residues across felled sites across Western Beats — Wareham, Ringwood, New Forest (North and South Walk). Harvesting residues are the woody products left on-site following the completion of timber harvesting operations. These residues generally consist of the off cuts of round wood (discarded due to defect) and the branch wood that is too small or uneconomic to process (commonly referred to as lop and top or brash). We will be awarding a framework agreement for the removal of harvesting residues across felled sites across Eastern Beats — Solent (excluding Isle of Wight), Micheldever, South Downs, Chiddingfold.
