Science and Technology Facilities Council. STFC is a world-leading multi-disciplinary science organisation, whose goal is to deliver economic, societal, scientific and international benefits to the UK and its people — and more broadly to the world. ISIS, the name adopted for this machine, has been running for approximately 30 years with its original Dipole Magnets. The ISIS synchrotron dipole magnets are comprised of 2 coils, an upper and a lower, housed in a purpose built iron yoke assembly. STFC wish to purchase Qty 11 Upper Coils and Qty 11 Lower Coils. UK Shared Business Services Ltd as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a contract on behalf of the Science and Technology Facilities Council.
