Tender description

The Highway Services Department in Bristol City Council has a duty to maintain all highways maintainable at public expense within the City boundaries under section 41 of the Highways Act 1980. Works may include remedial and safety works such as repairing depressions, filling in potholes, patching, surface dressing, re-surfacing..etc. To undertake these duties, vehicles may need to be removed to another street nearby. The requirement may require to remove a vehicle within an hour, or for a tow-truck to be made available for a period of time to carry out the necessary repairs and duties as required by the Council’s representative.
