Tender description

The London Borough of Bromley is seeking tenders for the provision of banking services and purchasing cards as 2 separate lots, for a 5 year contract with the option for 2 2-year extensions, to commence on 1.4.2017 to include (but not be limited to) services detailed within the Lot descriptions. Banking services as detailed within the Service Specification for the London Borough of Bromley to include: — Maintenance of Council bank accounts include maintained schools; — Receipt of payments to the Council through a number of sources including cash, cheque, direct debit, standing order and credit/debit cards; — Clearance of payments by the Council to staff, pensioners and suppliers through a variety of processing methods including cheque, CHAPS, BACS and direct debit; — An electronic banking system which provides online access to bank statements, balances and transactions as well as the facility to make electronic payments (CHAPS and BACS). Provision of Purchasing Card services to the London Borough of Bromley as detailed in the Service Specification to include provision of card and reconciliation system. Annual usage is currently in excess of 3 600 transactions with a value of approximately 275 000 GBP (details within the Service Specification). Full tender documentation for both lots is accessible via the London Tenders Portal and Applicants should complete only the Stage 1 Selection Documents at this stage. The Invitation to Tender and supporting documents should only be completed once an Applicant has been invited to submit a tender following assessment of the Stage 1 responses. Applicants will be informed if they are being invited or not being invited to submit a tender on or around 17.10.2016 (or as otherwise directed by the Council).
