APMS Services for Kempston Road formerly Shakespeare Road Surgery

Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England (Central Midlands) and Bedfordshire CCG (referred to as the Commissioner(s)) under joint commissioning arrangements is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the Service(s). The Contracting Authority as set out in Document 4 – Form of Contract is the National Health Service Commissioning Board constituted by the 2012 Act and “NHS England” shall have the same meaning. The Commissioners are looking for a provider to deliver:- a) high quality, patient centred and value for money (VFM) Primary GP services, delivered in a safe and effective manner. b) Primary Medical Services including Essential, Additional and Enhanced Services as set out in Document 3 – Schedule 2 - Service Specification. This procurement is for a caretaker arrangement to be situated at Kempston Road (Bedford Hospital Site) to cover the services previously provided from the Shakespeare Road Surgery during the period a consultation process is undertaken.
