Provision of a multimedia streaming server to enable web content of the Parliament's Chamber and Committee business to be streamed live regularly across the web along with a permanent video on demand service. The Scottish Parliament is currently planning its procurement strategy and would like to engage with potential suppliers at this early stage in order to ensure that the procurement is designed in a way that it is attractive to the market. We are therefore going to hold 1-2-1 supplier meetings on the 10 to 13.10.2016, between the hours of 10:00 and 15:00 at the Scottish Parliament, Holyrood, Edinburgh, EH99 1SP. These meetings will be allocated on a 1st come 1st served basis. Please register your interest by emailing procurement@parliament.scot before 4 October. Further information is provided in the document attached to this notice. Before the SPCB goes out to market, it would like to undertake some market research with potential suppliers for the provision of a multimedia streaming server to enable web content of the Parliament's Chamber and Committee business to be streamed live across the web along with a permanent video on demand service. This service is permanently provided via a micro-site on www.parliament.scot Whilst the SPCB will need to ensure that all the features of the current system are maintained, it will also be looking for enhancements to any future service.
