London Borough of Ealing is holding an “Early Provider Engagement Event” for its forthcoming formal procurement for setting up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Residential Overnight Short Breaks for Disabled Children and Young People with Additional Needs Service. This event is open to any Provider who has an interest in providing this service and will take place on: Date: Thursday 08th September 2016 Time: 09.00 - 10.00 Place: Committee Room 1, Ealing Town Hall, New Broadway, Ealing, London W5 2BY The Commissioners are looking to get early market engagement with potential Providers who are dedicated to providing the very best choice, service and patient care standards and who are interested in joining the DPS in order to provide a range of short break opportunities for children and young people with disabilities to help meet their complex health, personal care and short breaks needs. The event will include presentations by Ealing Borough Council Commissioners detailing the services being commissioned and the procurement process involved. The event will give Providers the opportunity to discuss Residential Overnight Short Breaks for Disabled Children and Young People with Additional Needs service and to ask questions about the scope of the services, procurement process and to provide comments to the Council on the delivery of the service. This event will be an opportunity to network with other potential providers and meet the commissioners. The aim of the event is to: • Improve Providers’ understanding of the service and the procurement process; • Understand the capacity and ability of Providers to deliver the services; • Highlight areas of concerns; • Facilitate the potential development of the market place and meet other providers. To register for this event, Providers need to email Sean Bergin (BerginS1@ealing.gov.uk ) stating the name of your organisation and the name and numbers of attendees no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday 07th September 2016. If providers have any questions surrounding the provision of the services then these should also be submitted via email by 12:00 noon on Wednesday 07th September 2016. The Council will then aim to answer these questions at the event.
