Tender description
The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge (‘the Authority’) is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced and qualified organisations for appointment to the Framework Agreement for the Provision of Printing Services in the London Borough of Redbridge (‘the Framework’). The Framework shall commence on 1.2.2017 and, subject to satisfactory performance, shall continue up to and including 31.1.2020 (‘the Framework Period’). At the sole discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance, the Framework Period may be extended by up to one (1) year in such period or periods as the Authority deems appropriate, providing a possible total Framework Period until midnight on 31.1.2021. This type of work would suit digital or litho printing, and includes, but is not limited to, posters, leaflets, booklets and flyers. The work will include shorter print runs on demand for fast turnaround times, usually the same day or next day delivery. The Authority's print runs can be in the region of 135 000 flyers and some of the Authority's booklets have average print runs of 3 000. This type of work is for large format printing from A0 to A2 plots, vinyl banners, pull-ups and pop up systems. This type of printing involves sequential numbering, perforations, foil, scratch seal and hologram printing for various types of resident parking permits and visitor vouchers. This type of printing involves confidentiality, sequential numbering for ballot papers, and personalisation for poll cards. Other types of Electoral Printing may be required. Turnaround times are crucial for the delivery of this work and a site visit will be necessary and must be within the M25 area. This type of printing is for small runs of pens, t-shirts, bags for when there is a requirement to promote a particular event or campaign. This type of printing is for the Authority's meetings such as Cabinet, Full Council, Budget Book, and Annual Minute Books but is not limited to this. The type of work ids mono printing in the main and has pages ranging from 64 sheets to 180 sheets, printed on various colours and either stitched or perfect bound.
