NHS Lanarkshire require a single Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to support all five laboratory disciplines throughout NHS Lanarkshire. The solution must therefore be capable of managing Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Blood Transfusion, Microbiology and Cellular Pathology information across all three acute hospital sites. A variety of staff will be expected to use the system in some way including laboratory users and laboratory service managers as well as clinicians who require web browser access to laboratory results. NHS Lanarkshire is looking to implement a new Laboratory Information Management System. It is therefore essential that suppliers can demonstrate and evidence how their system can be used in the settings described above. Interested Suppliers are requested to return a completed Market Sounding Questionnaire which is attached to this Notice. NHS Lanarkshire is looking to implement a new Laboratory Information Management System. Consideration may be given to a national framework for LIMS by NSS.
