Tender description

The Scottish Ministers (the Authority) are seeking to establish a national Application Design and Development Services (ADDS) Framework Agreement. The key aim of the ADDS framework is to provide Scottish public sector and third sector bodies (Framework Public Bodies) with 1-stop access to a commercial arrangement for the purchase of a suite of Application Design and Development Services. The Contractor(s) will be required to provide an end-to-end Application Design and Development services which meets the current and future needs of the Scottish public sector. Applications will be delivered for use on a variety of different devices, including both mobile and traditional desktop interfaces. Application Design and Development will take into consideration the Scottish Public Sector's Digital First Strategy, and can include, but not limited to, the following application, design and development services: — Digital transformation of existing services; — Web based application development; — Mobile application design and delivery; — Desktop application design and delivery. Additional Services may include Hosting Services, Application Support and Maintenance, Data Migration, and Security Services.
