Wigan Council Road Markings Short Contract

Tender description

This contract is to carry out road markings replacement and removal to the boroughs highway network which have been identified from inspections and customer enquiries. In the main the works requested will be to replace markings along sections of carriageway that have been eroded away by road users. The employer will issues the work and identify the location, what work is required, the timescale for completion and any permitting issues which apply. The employer may issue defect notifications under Wigan Council’s Highway Safety Inspection Policy for poor workmanship or not carrying out work to specification. Defect notifications will be rectified at the contractors own expense to the satisfaction of the employer. Keywords: highway, road, works, surface, line, marking
