Tender description

The Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme (RDP 2014-2020) is part financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and is managed by the Department for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA). RDP is open to people who live in, or organisations which operate in, either the countryside or in settlements with a population of less than 5,000. Mid and East Antrim Local Action Group has been set up to manage and deliver the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 across Ballymena, Carrickfergus and Larne. The LAG received £4.19m from EAFRD, which is managed by DAERA. The funding will be used to enhance rural Mid and East Antrim by creating jobs, improving infrastructure and developing services in local areas.
