The provision of a Managed Print Service that incorporates the supply of print devices, and include; delivery, installation, network configuration, and management software that provides follow me printing in a secure manner where users access printing devices by the use of a staff swipe card. The software solution will provide statistical data on; usage and costs per device, service and maintenance output reports to enable efficiencies and savings to be realised by the London Borough of Hillingdon. The devices will be maintained and serviced by the supplier to minimise down time. The appointed supplier will provide a service where the consolidation of charges across the whole printer estate will be reflected on a cost per page basis. The service management and reporting of service levels will aid continuous improvement driving savings and other efficiencies. Suppliers tendering for this opportunity should be able to provide a full range of hardware from desktop printers to high volume Multi Functional Devices. The approx. annual spend for the existing service is 225 000 GBP.
