Tender description

Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust (NGH), internal pathology department has a requirement to outsource Histopathology reporting, post mortem, consultant cut-up and MDT on a regular basis. This is to supplement our current/all resident Histopathologists. The contract length of 5 years (3 + 1 + 1). Other service requirements: — Provide all appropriate transportation packaging. — Collect cases as arranged from NGH between 12:00 and 16:00 hours Monday to Friday (exc. bank holidays). — Ensure that tabs are not used in any report formats — carriage returns only to be used. — Return all cases (request forms and slides) to NGH within 5-7 working days of reporting. — Cover for MDTs as required. — Cover for Post Mortem as required. — Cover for consultant cut-up daily. — Provision of training as required.
