Tender description

North Lincolnshire council is inviting requests to participate in a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Positive Activities for Young people aged 13 to 19 years and for those with learning difficulties up to the age of 24. Candidates are able to apply for all or any combination of lots: Lot 1 — Visual arts Lot 2 — Performing arts Lot 3 — Sports Lot 4 — Outdoor adventure / outdoor education activities Lot 5 — Healthy eating / cookery Lot 6 — Technology Lot 7 — Self presentation The DPS is to establish a list of providers who will then be invited to submit tenders for specific requirements through further competitions. The initial deadline for submission of requests to participate is 12 noon 3.10.2016, however the DPS remains open to any provider that meets the selection criteria throughout it's 4-year duration. The anticipated spend per annum is 100 000 GBP. The DPS does not guarantee any minimum spend. The DPS will expire 25.8.2020. Lot 1 is for providers who can offer positive activities around Visual arts (e.g. arts and crafts, photography, film-making etc.). The ‘offer’ to young people is that: — Activities will be more tailored to what they want to do. — Information about activities will be available to them using the media they prefer. — There will be regular opportunities for them to give feedback. — There will be more opportunities for them to shape and influence decisions on local provision. North Lincolnshire Council aims to offer a diverse range of activities and opportunities accessible to all young people so that they achieve positive long-term outcomes including good health and emotional wellbeing, the building of resilience and skills for future employability. Lot 1 is for providers who can offer positive activities around Performing arts (e.g. dance, drama and music etc.) The ‘offer’ to young people is that: — Activities will be more tailored to what they want to do. — Information about activities will be available to them using the media they prefer. — There will be regular opportunities for them to give feedback. — There will be more opportunities for them to shape and influence decisions on local provision. North Lincolnshire Council aims to offer a diverse range of activities and opportunities accessible to all young people so that they achieve positive long-term outcomes including good health and emotional wellbeing, the building of resilience and skills for future employability. Lot 1 is for providers who can offer positive activities around Sports (e.g. football, tennis, climbing wall, disc sports, martial arts) The ‘offer’ to young people is that: — Activities will be more tailored to what they want to do. — Information about activities will be available to them using the media they prefer. — There will be regular opportunities for them to give feedback. — There will be more opportunities for them to shape and influence decisions on local provision. North Lincolnshire Council aims to offer a diverse range of activities and opportunities accessible to all young people so that they achieve positive long-term outcomes including good health and emotional wellbeing, the building of resilience and skills for future employability. Lot 1 is for providers who can offer positive activities around Outdoor adventure / outdoor education activities (e.g. residential camping, adventure activities such as water sports, motorbikes, natural crafts and survival skills). The ‘offer’ to young people is that: — Activities will be more tailored to what they want to do. — Information about activities will be available to them using the media they prefer. — There will be regular opportunities for them to give feedback. — There will be more opportunities for them to shape and influence decisions on local provision. North Lincolnshire Council aims to offer a diverse range of activities and opportunities accessible to all young people so that they achieve positive long-term outcomes including good health and emotional wellbeing, the building of resilience and skills for future employability. Lot 1 is for providers who can offer positive activities around Healthy eating / cookery.
