Tender description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service hosted by NHS England and is managing this process for and on behalf NHS England North (Yorkshire and the Humber)(the Commissioner). The Commissioner is asking Potential Providers to complete a Request for Information (RFI) on the proposed commissioning of a 2-year Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) contract pilot scheme commencing 1.12.2016. There will be an option to extend the proposed pilot scheme for up to a maximum of 1 year. Please see II.2.14) of this notice on where to access this RFI. The closing time and date for completed RFI returns is 12:00 noon on 8.9.2016. A 2 year APMS contract commencing 1.12.2016 with an option to extend for 1 year. List size taken as of 1.4.2016: Weighted 5 182,59 / Raw 6 709. Contractual Opening Times: Main site: 8:00-18:30 Monday to Friday: Branch site: 8:00-15:00 Monday to Friday. The service is to deliver essential, additional, and enhanced services to registered patients as well as the contractual minimum standards and higher performance indicators. The practice is a member of NHS Airedale, Wharfedale, and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and will therefore be eligible to participate in any local schemes offered by the CCG. Payments will be line with GMS rates except where otherwise stated. Annual Funding will be: Core payment — 80,59 GBP per weighted patient. Additional funding up to 19,40 GBP per patient weighted will be available to support the delivery and achievement of key metrics and improvement in health outcomes to the practice population.
