Type of Engagement: DFID Uganda is in the design phase of a new family planning programme and will host the 1st of 2 planned Early Market Engagement meetings. This 1st meeting will aim to inform the market of the upcoming opportunity and to solicit feedback ahead of the development of the Business Case. Project Purpose: The purpose of this programme is to support the Government of Uganda (GoU) in the implementation of the Family Planning Costed Implementation Plan (FP-CIP) in order to accelerate the uptake of contraception and reduce the negative health, social and economic consequences of high fertility rates.
