Tender description

A variety of capital projects totalling approximately 300 000 000 GBP over 3 to 4 years are being considered by the University of Birmingham. These include refurbishment and new build projects across a wide range of activities at the University encompassing teaching, research, conference facilities and office accommodation. The University is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced Architect to lead a Multi Disciplinary Design Team principally consisting of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Consultancy Services and Structural Engineering Consultancy Services including within the scope other Design Specialist as required under a Framework Agreement to provide services in accordance with the Consultants Schedule of Duties and Plan of Works documents on University projects. Typically, the duties required will be for projects in their entirety, but on occasion Consultants may be required to provide limited services only, for example To undertake a feasibility exercise.
