Tender description

On behalf of the Eastern Solent Coastal Partnership (ESCP) Portsmouth City Council has entered into framework agreements with 7 suppliers for the provision of specialist consultancy services to support the delivery of flood and coastal erosion protection projects across the coastal areas of Central Southern England. Framework Agreements commenced from 10.5.2016 and will run for an initial term of 4 years with the option to extend in increments to be agreed up to a maximum term of 8 years. As a guide, the value of total work let under the agreement over the maximum 8 year term may range from 6 500 000 GBP to 40 000 000 GBP. The lower value is based upon the forward programme of work anticipated for Portsmouth City Council only, whilst the higher takes account of potential work from the other 20 named authorities. A call-off contract for the design of coastal defences at North Portsea Island was awarded concurrently with the framework to Royal Haskoning DHV at a cost of 275 800 GBP. The framework agreements are accessible to all authorised bodies signing a Participation Agreement with the Council. They will then be able call-off contracts as when required to provide specialist consultancy services to support the delivery of various flood and coastal erosion protection projects.
