Tender description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service hosted by NHS England and is managing this process for and on behalf NHS England North (Yorkshire and the Humber)(the Commissioner). The Commissioner is asking Potential Providers to complete a Request for Information (RFI) on the proposed commissioning of a 2 year Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) contract pilot scheme commencing 01/12/2016. There will be an option to extend the proposed pilot scheme for up to a maximum of 1 year. The closing time and date for completed RFI returns is 12:00 noon on 08/09/2016. List size taken as of 01/04/2016: Weighted 5182.59 / Raw 6709 Main Site 151 North Street, Keighley, BD21 3AU. Branch Site 8 Vale Street, Keighley, BD21 4DA. Services must be offered from these premises. Contractual Opening Times: Main site: 08:00 - 18:30 Monday to Friday: Branch site: 08:00 – 15:00 Monday to Friday The service is to deliver essential, additional, and enhanced services to registered patients as well as the contractual minimum standards and higher performance indicators. The practice is a member of NHS Airedale, Wharfedale, and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and will therefore be eligible to participate in any local schemes offered by the CCG. Payments will be line with GMS rates except where otherwise stated Annual Funding will be: Core payment - 80.59 GBP per weighted patient. Additional funding up to 19.40 GBP per patient weighted will be available to support the delivery and achievement of key metrics and improvement in health outcomes specific to the practice population. Please be aware that all communications and submissions will be conducted via PROACTIS only. This facility allows Potential Providers to express an interest in this RFI exercise and it is NOT a pre-qualification questionnaire and is NOT part of any pre-qualification or selection process. It is intended as an awareness, communication, and information gathering exercise. An Expression of Interest is no indication of a commitment to participate in the RFI process nor does it infer any preferential or special status on those Potential Providers who do express an interest. Please note PROACTIS will display a closing date of 07/09/2016 at 23:59 the actual closing date is 08/09/2016 at 12:00 noon
