It is the intention of DCC to procure a systems solution through a Software as a Service (SaaS) to modernise HR processes to enable us to deliver contemporary customer service to managers and colleagues is now a critical requirement and the purpose of this process. DCC current systems were implemented in 1997 with our processes being at least 15-20 years out of date. Limited changes have been implemented in subsequent years with DCC consequently developing a significant number of manual workarounds to try to deliver expected customer service and mitigate the risks this brings. However, by doing so, this adds new risks of data control, human error and long service delivery timelines resulting in poor customer service. The e-Recruitment solution will deliver a strengthened DCC employer brand and modernise the candidate experience. The external labour market is becoming increasingly competitive and compared to others, the current labour/candidate experience places DCC at risk of being unable to attract the skills DCC requires for the future. Other employers against whom DCC compete for trainees, scientists, engineers, procurement specialists and data analysts have user friendly recruitment systems. DCCs systems appear outdated and potentially switch off candidates due to the laborious nature of applying for roles and interaction/communication. The e-recruitment solution will enable alignment of DCC recruitment processes across all business units, as well as enable data analysis to inform the most efficient and effective methods to reach candidates and opportunities for cost savings. To summarise, DCC requires the following modules as part of a SaaS offering: — Recruitment; — Learning Management System (LMS); — Talent and Succession; — Performance Management Review (PMR).
