TD1096: Domiciliary Care - Planned & Un-planned, Emergency 24/7 Support, and Core Care & Support, at Extra Care Schemes in Derby

Tenders are invited for the supply of Domiciliary Care on a Planned and Un-planned basis, including Emergency 24/7 Support and Core Support, at four Extra Care Schemes, Cedar House, Greenwich Gardens, Handyside Court and Sunnyfields. The successful Service Provider for each scheme will be expected to provide all 3 elements of the service: • Planned Domiciliary Care • Emergency 24/7 Care and Support • Core Care and Support The tender is split into 2 Lots. • Lot 1 – Cedar House and Greenwich Gardens • Lot 2 – Handyside Court and Sunnyfields Organisations may bid for one or both Lots, but there will be separate providers selected for each Lot. Where the same provider scores highest for both Lots, it will be at the discretion of the Council which Lot they are awarded. The provider subsequently scoring second in the other Lot will then be awarded that contract The Contract start date is 9 January 2017 for an initial period of 24 months. There will be the option to extend the contract(s) by 24 months in six monthly increments. Please note, suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation, must do so by 5pm on 18th September 2016. However, it is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response.
