Tender description

The National Composites Centre is planning on placing an order for the design, manufacture and installation for up to three Stress Rupture Test rigs. The purpose of these rigs is to provide data on the stress rupture behaviour of thermoplastic composite pipe. This document, along with the suite of documents that form the Invitation to Tender Pack, gives the detailed specification, buy-off procedure and timescales for the procurement of this capability. Proposals must be submitted to include costs for one unit with costed options for second and third identical units. The target date for the NCC to commence testing is 3 months from award of contract, and all submissions will be measured on the capability to achieve this, however submissions outside of this timeframe will still be considered.
