Tender description

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) is seeking a partner (the Partner) to support the development and delivery of its estate strategy in line with the Trust's current and future clinical strategy, whilst optimising estates costs and maximising the value derived from the estate. The key purpose of the proposed joint venture(JV) partnership is to work with a Partner in the long term to: • provide commercial skills, expertise and capability to maximise value from the Trust’s estate through creative estate proposals (which may include redevelopment, space rationalisation, refurbishment, new build projects) • support the Trust to maximise receipts for surplus properties which may include managing disposals (where appropriate) and income generation in surplus estate • redevelop parts of the estate to improve current health facilities and/or generate revenue through provision of commercial/residential schemes • provide additional resource and complementary expertise to deliver the estate strategy • provide access to private sector capital where required Potential further works may include: • provision of solutions for FM services which will generate efficiency savings whilst maintaining or improving the quality of FM service (note: this will not include the provision of such services) • supporting the Trust in sourcing suitable estate for the submission of service tenders, particularly in areas outside the Trust’s current estate • provision of services to neighbouring Trusts or other public sector organisations • provision of procurement advisory services to the Trust outside the remit of the JV Keywords: Joint venture, Strategic Estate Partnership, NHS Estates, Property Services, Architectural, Construction
