Tender description

St Michael's is a Church of England Academy High School located in Chorley. There are 1 125 pupils, years 7-11, with a separate year 11 common room/dining area. The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at St Michael's CofE High School. Contract value = 795 000 GBP based on a 3-year contract. Breakfast, morning break and lunch are currently provided in the main dining areas with daily tea, coffee and fruit juice provided to the staff room at break and a small amount of hospitality. The use of local producers and suppliers is important to the school as is the promotion of healthy eating and a good variety of meal options. The school welcomes expressions of interest from caterers able to demonstrate good resource in this Geographical area and the ability to support the on-site team. The contract will commence on 1.4.2017 for a minimum period of 3 years and the option to extend for a further 2 years.
