Tender description
NUI Galway (www.nuigalway.ie/nanoscale ) is seeking to purchase an advanced, tuneable, and pulsed laser light source for steady-state, and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy applications. The system is to be applied for deep UV wavelength (270-350 nm) range for excitation of intrinsic fluorescence in proteins, and it must also provide light in the visible region 400-800 nm for the excitation of extrinsic fluorophores. The pulsed output must also be suitable for use with Time Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) based fluorescence lifetime and single molecule detection methods.
