NHS England Central Midlands - Provision of Primary Medical GP Services 4 Lots

Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AG CSU) on behalf of NHS England Midlands & East (Central Midlands) would like to inform potential providers of the intention to procure Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) for the below GP medical practices: • Arboretum Surgery, 76 Monks Road, Lincoln, LN2 5HU, • Burton Road Surgery, 181 Burton Road, Lincoln, LN1 3LT • Metheringham Surgery, High Street, Metheringham, LN4 3DZ • Pottergate Surgery, Vanessa Drive, Gainsborough, DN21 2UQ Details of the individual practice profiles are attached to this notice and the ‘Attachments’ area on the Bravo portal. The successful Provider will need to demonstrate that they can deliver service(s) of a continuously high-quality and will be responsive to the needs of the local population. The Provider will be assessed on an on-going basis to ensure they deliver the quality required. The services must be provided by GPs and Nurses and the Provider will be expected to deliver: • High quality Primary Medical Services responsive to the needs of the population • Promotion of healthy living with the aim of tackling the underlying causes of ill health • Essential services • All additional services • All Enhanced Services commissioned by NHS England, the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and the local council • Increased access through the innovative use of technology The Contract will be for a minimum period of 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months. The contract for this service will be the NHS Standard APMS Contract, with an anticipated Service commencement date of March/April 2017. It is envisaged that TUPE will apply to this contract.
