Please Note this Pin is Not a Call for Competition and a Full Contract Notice will be Published in due course in relation to the Proposed Procurement. The London Borough of Hackney (The Council) anticipates undertaking a procurement exercise for its Community Meal services across Hackney. The purpose of the proposed procurement exercise will be to appoint a provider who have the relevant skills and experience to deliver Community Meal services in Hackney. The contract is for the supply of fresh cooked hot meals to the Community Meals Service and to 2 older People's Day centres through London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH). This PIN contains details of the Council's prospective requirements; as far as their details are known at this time. Full details will be confirmed within any Contract Notices which should be referred to for further information. The Council anticipates that this procurement will not include lots. For the avoidance of doubt, this notice is not a Call for Competition. It is anticipated that the contract will be effective from summer 2017, but this date is subject to change. The overall spend on the Meals services in Hackney is estimated to be 250 000 GBP per annum.
