Tender description

This PIN is an update to PIN 2016/S 044-072058 issued 03/03/2016 for General Legal Advice Services for Central Government (RM3786). CCS is to set up a Legal Panel of full service providers of legal services for Crown Bodies and other permitted users in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to cover the following minimum Mandatory Services which have been revised and expanded from PIN 2016/S 044-072058. Public Law Competition Law EU Law Contracts Construction Corporate Information Law including Data Protection Dispute resolution Employment Environment Franchising Health &Safety Information Technology Intellectual Property Litigation Non — Complex Finance Outsourcing Partnership Pensions Planning Projects / PFI/PPP Public Procurement Real Estate/Estate Finance Restructuring/Insolvency Tax The scope of this Panel will also cover optional services including Health, Education, and Energy, International Trade, Investment and Regulation, and Public International Law. This procurement relates to legal services which is listed in Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR) 2015 as a specific service. This procurement is subject to limited regulation and will be conducted in accordance with regulations 74 to 76 PCR 2015 The anticipated start date of the Panel is 31.1.2017. The anticipated maximum number of providers to be appointed to the Panel is eighteen (18), split between two Tiers with twelve (12) suppliers within Tier 1 and six (6) suppliers within Tier 2. Bidders must: — be full service providers of legal services, authorised and regulated by the SRA and / or appropriate regulatory bodies in other EU jurisdictions; — possess suitable professional indemnity insurance cover; and — be able to provide all of the Mandatory Services listed in II.1.4.
