Staffordshire County Council is committed to working with its partners to secure the best start in life for all children and to ensure they grow and live well throughout adolescence and into their adult life. Staffordshire covers a large geographical area and is divided into the 8 districts of Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, Lichfield, Newcastle-under-Lyme, South Staffordshire, Stafford, Staffordshire Moorlands and Tamworth. The aim of the Programme is to improve outcomes and reduce inequalities for children, young people and families through the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 0-19 years and the core purpose of Children's Centres. To deliver a differentiated programme of support from community and universal through to targeted, to assist with the early identification of additional and/or complex needs and to provide extra support to those with the greatest need.
