Tender description

A Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and the specification for hardwood timber sleepers are both attached to this notice. The purpose of the Qualification system is to invite applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre-Qualification process to establish a qualification system for the supply of new hardwood timber railway sleepers for delivery to Portlaoise Sleeper Factory. The Qualification System will operate for a 3 year period and new applicants are encouraged to submit pre-qualification submissions at any time during the 3 year duration. Under this proposed arrangement, hardwood timber sleeper requirements will be tendered individually on a call-off basis to those Companies appointed to this Qualification system. Individual call-off requirements will be tendered on an ad hoc basis to all companies that are part of the Qualification System at the time of tender.
