Tender description

Details of the Project: The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking a single supplier to provide the following services: (A) Removal of graffiti and fly-posting covering the whole of the borough; (B) Undertaking of a limited number of environmental services during the contract term, these may include but not limited to the following: — Power wash/Cleaning of Water Play/Splash pads areas Ruislip Lido and Fassnidge Park; — Power wash/cleaning of Tennis Courts as and when required; — Cleaning of Park Furniture, Benches, Notice Boards, Bins, Signage and Railings/Fencing. The work will include removal of all reported graffiti and fly-posting within agreed time-scales; 24 hours from notification for racist/offensive incidents and 2 working days from notification for non-offensive incidents. Suppliers will be invited to submit alternative time-scales for removal provided they do not exceed those stated in this tender and where the suggestion of a reduced time-scale does not incur additional cost. An element of prevention work will also be undertaken by the successful contractor. The contractor will also be expected to develop an agreed programme of pro-active graffiti removal work, including audits of various areas. The Contract will be for an initial term of 3 (three) years, extendable at Hillingdon's sole option, for a period of 1 (one) year, giving a total of 4 (four) years (the Term). Below is an indication of previous annual spend under the existing contract and acts as a guide only and should not be deemed as a guarantee or commitment to minimum spend levels in this year or any future years under the new contract. The London Borough of Hillingdon cannot commit to maintaining spend outlined below going forward. Graffiti removal: Year Spend: 2015-2016 328 282,50 GBP; 2014-2015 321 700 GBP; 2013-2014 324 040 GBP. Other services: Year Spend: 2015-2016 4 400 GBP; 2014-2015 3 325 GBP; 2013-2014 2 350 GBP. Total: 2015-2016 — 332 682,50 GBP; 2014-2015 — 325 025 GBP; 2013-2014 — 326 390 GBP.
