Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS Arden and GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS England's West Midlands Local Office are carrying out a market engagement exercise in relation to consultant led orthodontic services. Please refer to the attachments section in Bravo for a copy of a map of the West Midlands where the services are to be provided. For the purposes of this exercise, the West Midlands includes the local authority areas of: Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Herefordshire, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Wolverhampton and Worcestershire. NHS England is interested in hearing from any organisations that currently provide, or may be interested in providing, consultant led orthodontics services at various locations within the NHS England West Midland's geography. Subject to the findings of this market engagement exercise, NHS England may consider running a procurement process to appoint providers of consultant led orthodontic services. Please refer to the attachments section in Bravo for a copy of the NHS England Commissioning Guide for Orthodontics. Please note a specification for the services, based on the commissioning guide, will be issued when any subsequent procurement may be advertised. Interested organisations are encouraged to read the NHS England Commissioning Guide for Orthodontics (attached) and are requested to complete the questionnaire available as part of this market engagement exercise. Please submit your response to the questionnaire on the Bravo Portal by 14:00, Friday, 9.9.2016. For details on how to register on Bravo and complete the questionnaire please see below. Please note this is purely a market assessment exercise to gather facts on potential providers. The subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when published. The responses received during the market analysis exercise will not be taken into account in any future evaluation process as part of the formal procurement process.
