CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF CARE AND SUPPORT TO SERVICE USER WITH COMPLEX NEEDS

Tender description

This contract is for the provision of care and support for a vulnerable person with complex needs in Gateshead. Complex needs in this context relates primarily to a Service User with needs which result in difficulty in finding and accessing appropriate support services. This may due to the level of risk that the Service User presents to other Service Users, staff or themselves or may be due to the high level of care and support required. The needs of the Service User will include a combination of the following: • Offending • Homelessness • Significant Mental Health issues • Significant Learning Disabilities The Service User will require 1:1 care and support provision which will be available 7 days a week 24 hours a day and 2:1 support whilst in the community. Immediate Response required. The Council will evaluate submissions strictly in the order received and will appoint the first provider to submit compliant tender.
