Tender description

The successful contractor will be required to provide internal and external cleaning services for communal areas within the estate using methods and procedures approved by The British Institute of Cleaning Science. The term of the proposed contract is 2 years (24 months) to commence 1.12.2016, with option to extend for a further period or periods of up to 3 years (36 months) subject to mutual agreement of the Buyer and the Contractor. The estimated range in value of the contract over the initial term of 2 years and potential extension period of 3 years is 500 000 GPB. The Battersea Fields Residents Organisation Limited (‘the BFRO Limited’) is a residents' led democratic organisation, established in order to improve and provide an effective and quality Housing Management service for those living on Battersea Park Estate. The BFRO Limited manages 13 blocks of flats, 8 of which consists of 4 floors containing 19 individual flats and the remaining 5 consists of 10 floors containing a maximum of 77 individual flats.
