Local Employment service for Cheapside Business Alliance and their members. To support the local community, to enhance members CSR programmes and to provide additional opportunities to deliver both a business support and community focussed agenda. Dedicated Employment officer Working alongside the CoL and under the BID manager. The objective is to facilitate a time efficient, cost effective recruitment strategy that targets local people for local Vacancies. - A streamlined recruitment process, fully project managed by the company and for the CBA to deliver skilled, job ready candidates for roles in retail, hospitality and administration. To continue to mentor the candidate once they have started work. - Access to local residents via organized recruitment campaigns, job fairs and information sessions as required - A co-ordinated vacancy promotion service and support for local unemployed residents, able to register for employment and training opportunities - Access to publicly-funded support for Apprenticeships, workforce development, training and work trials, to decide on candidate suitability -Working closely with referral agencies -Use the skills and expertise of member businesses to engage with young people and graduates, to motivate them and strive for excellence to create the City work force of the future -To work alongside the BID Manager and create various Employment /Apprenticeship workshops for members to attend.
