Cambridgeshire County Council invites quotes to pack and deliver 46,000 Stay Well Health Bags across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The packs aim to support local and national initiatives in encouraging good health and wellbeing amongst groups who are vulnerable to the cold weather and to reduce pressures on the health system during the winter. There is a particular emphasis in helping to reduce the number of avoidable hospital admissions. This year the branding of the packs will be adapted to complement and ensure consistency with the national campaign. Packs will be given to people at flu clinics, children’s centres and through voluntary sector opportunities. The packs will include a thermometer; key messages around flu vaccination, falls prevention; and information signposting to locally available support.
