Tender description

The University of Bristol will be inviting tenders for the provision of high quality digital assets to illustrate and communicate online courses (three) due for release in summer 2017. The courses are likely to be delivered through an as yet unspecified third party platform. The digital assets may include (but not limited to) film, photograph, animation or graphical in nature and should be delivered to the highest standards of excellence and innovation. University of Bristol would hold the rights to the assets created in perpetuity. It is proposed that the courses will be delivered and designed collaboratively between students, academics and external stakeholders and therefore experience of working with similar stakeholder groups would be advantageous. The courses (and their assets) should draw heavily on the values of the City of Bristol, both in terms of content and also visual identity. We are looking for companies who can evidence an appreciation, awareness and ideally experience of the creation of Bristol-centric materials. We would envisage that the production company would work directly with our stakeholders to inform and inspire them in the design of their courses and the delivery of assets. Therefore, it would be advantageous for the supplier to be able to frequently visit the University of Bristol to engage with such activities during the lifetime of the contract (sometimes at short notice). The value of the contract is currently unknown awaiting further refinement of ideas with stakeholder groups.
