The Supply of a Zero Waste Mattress and Pillow System and Furniture Foam Cuttings

Tender description

Mattresses and Pillows: Supply of circa 35 000 mattresses and pillows respectively, predominantly to HMP Estate across England and Wales, with call off agreements for Scottish Prison Service and Northern Ireland Prison Service. This is a fully managed service to both supply the products, and also recycle, re-purpose or reuse all non-hazardous waste instead of going to landfill. Bids for both a fully managed service and also individual bids for supply and/or recycling/re-use will be considered. Furniture Foam Cuttings: Various foam cuttings required for prison industry workshops for the production of furniture items. All products within this tender must be fire retardant to a Crib 5 or 7 rating. Full specification details of each product to be provided with tender documentation.
